Dixie Credenza

Design Stars!! This is a Dixie!! An old furniture company from down in the low country. Charleston to be exact!
This piece features a rich walnut patina, dazzling "tear-drop" pulls, sits majestically on a 5-leg frowning brace, and boast nine deep drawers capable of handling  all storage issues!

Manner of "Paul Evans"


This Gentleman's Wardrobe was an in store special scooped by a smart cookie that envisioned this piece in her boudoir doing triple duty as a jewelry chest, Chester, and sweet perfume/makeup vanity. She stated she has the perfect mirror to position inside! WHAT VISION! 

This piece is styled in the manner of Paul Evans. The BRUTALIST period. It is  stamped, "made in Canada," April 13, 1973! My guess is the Scandinavians at one point migrated to Canada, and duplicated the same Mid Century Modern style we were doing in the U.S. Dig it!

Uber Modern Sofa Table Ensemble



WOW! Does it get hipper than this?? The sixties were a force to be reckoned with! This Sofa/Table emsemble is in the manner of George Nelson for American of Martinsville. Note the wicker armrest, solid brass back & side connectors, the side table, and original vintage fabric!

Vintage Highback Wing Chair



This is a great visual example of design through the decades. The Egg Chair, by Arne Jacobson is comparable to this piece. Both chairs are built to filter noise, offer comfort, and again are stunning visual pieces! FYI--This chair is channeled on the seat and tufted on the back!!

This "Caldwell" apartment size credenza, in the manner of George Nelson, is from the Lenoir, N.C. furniture company. Observe the clean face, pegged legs, "frowning-brace" and perfectedly "finger-fitted" drawer pulls. This piece was truly ahead of it's time!
